Freckled woman suspect wanted after Saturday stabbing in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was hospitalized Saturday after being stabbed late Saturday morning in Northeast D.C., prompting a police search for a female suspect.

The incident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. at the 1400 block of Florida Avenue in Northeast, D.C. Police arrived at the scene and found a man with a stab wound. He was conscious and breathing at the scene and was transported by medics to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At this time, no arrests had been made. Police are actively searching for a woman described as having freckles and long black hair in connection with the incident.
