Brick Township detective completes advanced crime scene investigation training

BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Brick Township Police Department has announced that Detective Brian Foley has graduated from the New Jersey State Police Crime Scene Investigation Course.

The department shared the news on Sunday, recognizing Foley’s successful completion of the intensive program, which is presented by the State Police Forensic and Technical Services Bureau. The training focuses on advanced techniques in crime scene processing and evidence handling.

With the completion of the course, Detective Foley will be assigned to the department’s Identification Bureau, where he will apply his newly acquired skills in active investigations.

“This intensive program has equipped him with the skills needed to expertly manage the complexities of crime scene processing,” the department stated.

The Brick Township Police Department said Foley’s training will enhance its ability to conduct thorough forensic investigations.
