Nutley police investigate early morning home break-in and vehicle theft

NUTLEY, N.J. — Nutley Police are investigating a residential burglary and vehicle theft that occurred early Saturday morning on Pauline Drive.

According to authorities, officers responded at approximately 5:10 a.m. after a resident reported that an unknown individual had shattered a window and unlawfully entered her home. During the break-in, the suspect located the keys to the resident’s vehicle and fled the scene in it.

The suspect’s identity and direction of travel remain unknown, and no injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Police have not released the make or model of the stolen vehicle and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating it.

Residents in the area are urged to check home surveillance footage and report any suspicious activity to the Nutley Police Department.
