Baltimore shooting victim goes straight to hospital and skips the 911 call

BALTIMORE, MD — A 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound walked into a local hospital late Thursday night, prompting a shooting investigation by Northeast District detectives.

The victim arrived at the hospital around 9:53 p.m., according to authorities. Medical staff determined the gunshot injury was not life-threatening. The man’s identity has not been released.

Investigators have not determined where the shooting occurred. As of Friday, no crime scene had been located and no arrests had been made.

Detectives are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are asking for any information that could help identify a shooting location or potential suspects.
