Toms River woman killed in rollover crash on Garden State Parkway entrance ramp

LAKEWOOD, N.J. — A 20-year-old woman was killed early Sunday after being ejected from her vehicle during a single-car crash on a Garden State Parkway entrance ramp in Ocean County, according to New Jersey State Police.

Giselle Munoz Villar of Toms River was driving on the 89A entrance ramp leading to the northbound lanes of the parkway in Lakewood when she lost control of the vehicle, a State Police spokesperson confirmed.

Authorities said the vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned several times. Villar was thrown from the car during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene from her injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation by New Jersey State Police.
