Maryland Lottery dishes out $30M in one winning week

BALTIMORE, MD — Two Maryland Lottery players are each $200,000 richer after hitting top prizes on Ravens X10 scratch-off tickets purchased in Baltimore and Hagerstown, officials announced Tuesday.

The big wins were among 43 tickets worth $10,000 or more claimed between May 19 and May 25. In total, the Maryland Lottery paid out nearly $30.6 million in prizes during that seven-day stretch across all games.

In addition to the $200,000 scratch-off prizes, 10 players won $50,000 or more on various tickets. Those wins were recorded in Baltimore (two), Bethesda, Columbia, Gaithersburg, Joppa, Mount Airy, Potomac, Silver Spring and Waldorf.

Winners of prizes over $25,000 must make appointments to claim their winnings at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore. Prizes up to $25,000 may be claimed at any of the state’s six casinos, while smaller amounts can be redeemed at retailers or XCAP locations.
