Delaware State Police investigate Millsboro shooting that struck occupied home

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Wednesday night in Millsboro, where gunfire struck an occupied residence, authorities said.

At approximately 9:44 p.m. on May 28, troopers were dispatched to the 27000 block of Patriots Way following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, police determined that an unknown suspect had fired an unknown number of shots at the home.

The house was occupied at the time of the shooting, but no injuries were reported. Authorities have not released any information regarding a possible suspect or motive.

Investigation remains ongoing
