$2 million lottery ticket sold in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland resident has claimed the $2 million top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $20 300 Million Diamond Dazzler scratch-off, officials announced Friday.

The winner selected the annuity option, which pays out $80,000 annually for 25 years. After required federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the total payout will amount to $1.44 million over the life of the prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz #724, located at 975 E. Dublin Granville Road in Columbus. The retailer will receive a standard bonus for selling the winning ticket.

300 Million Diamond Dazzler is one of the Ohio Lottery’s premium $20 games. As of May 29, ten top prizes of $2 million remain unclaimed. The odds of winning vary by prize tier, with the top annuity prize offering $80,000 annually for a quarter century.
