Ohio Lottery blast hands out $150K prize to local winner

CANTON, Ohio — A Canton resident has claimed the $150,000 top prize from the Ohio Lottery’s $5 scratch-off game, $150,000 Blast, officials announced Friday.

The winning ticket was purchased at GetGo #3364, located at 104 Raff Road in Canton. The winner, who has not been publicly identified, will take home $108,000 after federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent.

$150,000 Blast is a $5 ticket offering a top prize of $150,000. As of May 29, one top prize remains unclaimed in the game. The Ohio Lottery continues to see winners from its lower-priced scratch-off offerings.

Retailer receives bonus for selling winning ticket

GetGo #3364 will receive a retailer sales bonus for selling the top prize ticket. The game is part of the Ohio Lottery’s broader portfolio of instant scratch-offs aimed at a wide range of prize levels and price points.
