Man holding dollar bills roll, corruption payment, dirty money, financial fraud

MCDONOUGH, Ga. — A Georgia woman picked up a $25,000 payday after purchasing a 100X scratch-off ticket while in Middletown, Connecticut, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

Jeani J. of McDonough claimed her winnings on May 30 after buying the lucky ticket at The Grog Shop, a retail location in Middletown known for selling lottery products.

The 100X scratch-off ticket offers multiple prize levels and is a $10 game, with players able to win up to $1 million. Jeani’s $25,000 prize is one of the larger secondary wins available in the game.

The Connecticut Lottery continues to remind players that all winning tickets must be validated, and prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable state and federal tax withholdings.
