OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying individuals who may have mistakenly taken a patio set from a property where a garage sale was being set up.

According to a statement posted Thursday by the Ocean Township Police Department, the homeowner had begun placing items outside in preparation for a sale scheduled for the following day. During this time, the patio furniture was removed from the yard.

Police believe the incident was likely an honest mistake and are focused on recovering the property for its rightful owner. Images of the individuals involved were shared on the department’s official Facebook page.
