Crash with injuries closes lane on US 202 in Wayne Township

WAYNE, N.J. — A crash with injuries has closed one lane and the right shoulder on the northbound side of US 202 near Packanack Lake Road in Wayne Township, authorities reported Sunday evening.

As of 8:16 p.m., one of the three northbound lanes and the right shoulder are shut down to traffic while emergency responders work at the scene.

Details about the number of vehicles involved or the extent of injuries have not yet been released. Motorists in the area are advised to expect delays and use caution.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
