Stolen vehicle recovered in Glen Burnie after surveillance operation

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Detectives recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested two individuals following a surveillance operation in Glen Burnie on May 7, according to authorities.

Detectives conducting proactive surveillance along Crain Highway observed suspicious activity involving a vehicle leaving a local business. Shortly after, officers confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Assisted by the Aviation Unit, officers maintained visual contact and executed a coordinated traffic stop near the intersection of Jumpers Hole Road and Mountain Road.

During the traffic stop, two individuals were taken into custody without incident. The stolen vehicle was recovered at the scene.

“This successful outcome highlights our department’s ongoing commitment to proactive policing and public safety,” officials stated.

No additional information regarding the suspects or charges has been released.
