Teen girl reported missing in Owings Mills, Baltimore County police say

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Zaniya Branch, who was reported missing Tuesday.

Branch was last seen in the Owings Mills area wearing a black T-shirt and shorts, according to a social media post shared by the department. She is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 127 pounds.

Authorities classified the case as a critical missing person and are urging anyone with information to come forward. No further details were released about the circumstances of her disappearance or the time she was last seen.

The police department posted a notice on both X and Facebook shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday. “#CriticalMissing 14-year-old Zaniya Branch (5’4 127lbs). Last seen in the Owings Mills area wearing a black t shirt and shorts,” the post read.

Anyone who may have seen Branch or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact 911 or call 410-887-1279.
