Victim dies at hospital after Frankford Avenue shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 32-year-old man was killed following a late-night shooting Saturday in Northeast Baltimore, city police confirmed.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Sinclair Lane around 11:38 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire. Responding officers located evidence of a crime scene in the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue.

Shortly after, police were notified that a shooting victim had arrived at a nearby hospital seeking treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical staff, the man was pronounced dead.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, and there is no information yet on potential suspects or a motive.

Homicide detectives seek public assistance
