Newark police search for missing 21-year-old man last seen on Monday night

NEWARK, N.J. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 21-year-old man who was last seen Monday evening in Newark.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., Samuel David Escobar Bohorquez was reported missing on Monday, June 16. He was last seen at approximately 9:02 p.m. near the intersection of Oliver Street and Adams Street.

Escobar Bohorquez is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

“Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Samuel David Escobar Bohorquez” is asked to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477), authorities stated.
