Drive-thru drink stop delivers decades of cash in Ohio

FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio — A Lottery player in Lake County is set to receive $25,000 annually for the rest of their life after matching five numbers in the June 19 Lucky for Life drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Steel’s Korner Drive Thru Beverage, located at 1248 High Street in Fairport Harbor. It was an auto-pick selection that matched the five main numbers drawn: 2, 5, 8, 18, and 45. The Lucky Ball number was 1.

The second-tier Lucky for Life prize guarantees the winner $25,000 a year for life, a fixed annual payout that can significantly supplement income over the long term.

Lifetime prize claimed in Lake County

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Lucky for Life is a multi-state draw game held daily, offering a top prize of $1,000 a day for life and a second prize of $25,000 annually.

The Ohio Lottery continues to support education, contributing more than $33 billion since its inception in 1974.
