WATERBURY, Conn. — A local woman claimed a $200,000 prize this week after purchasing a winning 100X scratch-off ticket at a Waterbury supermarket.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, Patricia R. of Waterbury won the top prize from the 100X scratch game. She bought the lucky ticket at Stop & Shop #679, located in Waterbury.

The $10 100X game offers multiple chances to win prizes ranging from $10 to $200,000. Patricia’s win marks one of the game’s highest-tier payouts.

The Connecticut Lottery encourages all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and keep them in a safe place until claiming. All lottery prizes must be claimed within 180 calendar days from the date of the drawing or game closure.
