Allegheny County Police investigating Wilkinsburg shooting that injured two

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night in the 800 block of Wallace Avenue, where two individuals were injured, officials said.

County 9-1-1 received the call at approximately 10:09 p.m. on June 20. Responding officers recovered one spent shell casing at the scene. No suspects were located at the time.

Shortly after the initial report, two victims arrived separately at local hospitals. One victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back while seated in a vehicle, while the second was treated for abrasions sustained while fleeing the area, police said.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit are leading the case. Authorities have not disclosed any information about possible suspects or a motive.
