BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 33-year-old man died Saturday after being stabbed in the torso in East New York, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:29 p.m. reporting a male stabbed near the intersection of Livonia Avenue and Cleveland Street in the 75th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a stab wound to his torso.
Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing remain unclear, and no suspects have been taken into custody as of Sunday morning.
