LANHAM, Md. — A Maryland Lottery player in Lanham has won the top Cash4Life prize of $1,000 a week for life following the June 18 drawing, according to state lottery officials.
The winner, who has not yet come forward as of Monday morning, has the option to receive $1,000 weekly for life or take a one-time lump sum of $1 million. The prize must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date.
In other recent wins, a Powerball player in Riverdale claimed a $150,000 prize as the jackpot rose to $128 million, and Mega Millions players in Catonsville and Cheverly each won $20,000 as that jackpot reached $326 million.
Six more players in Capitol Heights, Glen Burnie (two), Hagerstown, Laurel, and Severna Park claimed prizes ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 over the past seven days, according to the Maryland Lottery.
High-value winners across the state
From June 16 to 22, the Maryland Lottery awarded nearly $31.2 million in prizes, including 39 tickets worth $10,000 or more. That total includes prizes from a variety of games, including draw games, scratch-offs, and FAST PLAY.
Lottery officials remind winners to sign the backs of their tickets and store them securely. Draw game and FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after the drawing or purchase date, respectively.
