SETS Hybrid Training opens new fitness center in Brick after success in Jackson and Toms River

BRICK, N.J. — A new SETS Hybrid Training location officially opened its doors in Brick over the weekend, following successful launches in Jackson and Toms River.

Local officials, including Mayor Lisa Crate and Councilwoman Heather deJong, joined staff and community members for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility, located in the Laurel Square shopping plaza. The center offers a blend of strength and conditioning programs in a group training environment.

SETS Hybrid Training has continued to expand its presence in Ocean County with its community-focused fitness model. The Brick location brings the total number of New Jersey centers to three.

Mayor Crate and Councilwoman deJong commended the business for investing in Brick and contributing to the township’s health and wellness offerings. “We wish you continued success and look forward to seeing you thrive in Brick,” officials said in remarks shared during the event.

SETS staff said the new location is designed to provide a team-style atmosphere that promotes accountability and support among its members.

Community fitness expands in Ocean County

The opening in Brick comes amid a growing demand for boutique-style fitness centers throughout New Jersey, as communities seek more personalized and engaging training options. SETS Hybrid Training describes its method as combining performance training principles with a community-driven model.

The Laurel Square site will offer multiple daily sessions led by certified coaches and is expected to draw interest from residents across Brick and surrounding towns.

Brick officials highlighted the addition as part of a broader effort to encourage local development within the township’s retail and commercial corridors.

SETS Hybrid Training has not announced any further expansion plans but continues to attract new members through its growing brand presence in Ocean County.

The new Brick location marks another step in SETS’ expansion across the Jersey Shore fitness market.
