Big Apple’s lottery payday split between two boroughs

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Two lucky players struck big in Wednesday’s TAKE 5 Evening drawing, each scoring a top prize worth $15,119.

The New York Lottery announced that one winning ticket was sold at Village Gourmet Grocery, located at 102 2nd Avenue in Manhattan, while the second was sold at 7-Eleven, 2477 Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island.

The TAKE 5 drawing, held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., features numbers drawn from a field of one through 39. Players who match all five numbers win the top prize, which is split in the event of multiple winners.

Claim Period and Additional Info

Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. All winning draw game tickets must be validated and processed through an authorized New York Lottery claim center or retailer.

TAKE 5 continues to draw thousands of daily participants across the state, offering New Yorkers a shot at daily cash payouts with each $1 ticket.
