ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Melissa Gorga, star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” is recovering after what she described as a “major car accident” this week, sharing details of the frightening ordeal with fans on social media.

Gorga said she was pulling out of a dry cleaner’s parking lot when another vehicle struck her car from the side, triggering the airbags and sending a white powder into her face. She noted that her car began leaking fluid, and she feared it might catch fire while she was trapped inside, unable to open the door due to the deployed airbags.

She explained that she was left badly bruised, showing visible injuries to her legs, but was grateful there were no life-threatening injuries for anyone involved. The incident left her shaken and reflecting on how unpredictable life can be.

Gorga had recently celebrated the six-month anniversary of her cookie company, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, and continues to operate her Envy boutiques and host her podcast. She emphasized her relief to return home to her children after the crash.
