Man stabbed during early morning dispute in the Bronx, suspect sought

BRONX, N.Y. — A 27-year-old man was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times following a verbal dispute in the Bronx early Sunday, June 15, according to police.

The incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. in front of 496 East 138th Street, where the victim was stabbed four times in the abdomen. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction before officers arrived.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. He was listed in stable condition, police said.

The suspect is described as a male between 18 and 25 years old, with a medium complexion, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black baseball cap, and maroon and white shoes.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
