Marlboro police thank local McDonald’s for hosting community event

MARLBORO, N.J. — The Marlboro Township Police Department expressed gratitude to McDonald’s of Marlboro and its staff for hosting a “Coffee with a Cop” event held Friday afternoon.

Officers met with local residents over coffee and treats, sharing conversations and community connections in a relaxed setting. The department noted the positive turnout and appreciated the hospitality shown by the McDonald’s team.

“We enjoyed meeting the customers and the coffee and treats you provided were just delicious!” the department said in a social media post, joking that they kept the Hamburglar on his best behavior.

The event was part of the department’s continued efforts to build relationships with the public.
