BRONX, N.Y. — A 40-year-old woman is dead following a stabbing Saturday night inside a residential building in the Bronx, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 8:35 p.m. reporting a stabbing at 667 East 232nd Street in the 47th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found the woman with stab wounds to her chest and right arm.
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to Montefiore Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
No arrests made as detectives search for suspect
Authorities have not released the victim’s name, pending notification of her family. No arrests have been made and police have not identified a suspect or motive in the attack.
The investigation remains ongoing.
