BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — A Somerset County Lottery player won a $1 million top prize last week on the 100X Cash Blitz Scratch-Off ticket, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Monday.
The winning $20 ticket was purchased on June 24 at Wegmans, located at 724 Route 202 South in Bridgewater. It marks the second of three top prizes available for the 100X Cash Blitz game.
Lottery officials also noted a $50,000 win on June 22 with a Loaded $50,000 scratch-off ticket sold at Street Corner in Freehold, Monmouth County.
The New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $33.7 billion to the state since 1970, supporting a variety of programs and services. Profits currently help fund the public employee pension system through a 30-year agreement signed in 2017.
Scratch-off game still holds major prizes
The 100X Cash Blitz game continues to offer one remaining top prize of $1 million, along with other high-value prizes.
Players are reminded to sign the back of their tickets immediately and follow official claim instructions.
