Tops Markets Sells Winning Ticket in Lewis County

LOWVILLE, N.Y. — A Take 5 Midday ticket worth $18,715 was sold in Lewis County for Friday’s drawing, New York Lottery officials confirmed.

The winning ticket was purchased at Tops Markets, located at 7301 South State Street in Lowville. Take 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes, and the retailer earns a commission for selling the winning ticket.

The New York Lottery continues to contribute billions to education, with $3.8 billion raised in its most recent fiscal year to support public schools statewide.
