BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
At approximately 2:58 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot at the intersection of Riverdale Avenue and Osborn Street, within the 73rd Precinct. Upon arrival, police found the victim with a gunshot wound to his right arm.
The man, identified as Tahriq Thompson of Brooklyn, was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
