Pennsylvania Game Commission urges public to report wild turkey sightings through August

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking residents to report any wild turkey sightings across the state through August 31 as part of its annual summer survey.

The sightings help state biologists track turkey reproduction and population trends. Observations can be submitted online using the agency’s Wild Turkey Sighting Survey platform.

According to the Commission, all locations reported are kept confidential and used solely for conservation purposes. “Your submitted observations help state biologists monitor turkey reproduction and population trends,” the agency said in a public message.
