RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — A Take 5 Evening ticket worth $30,384 was sold in Suffolk County for Monday night’s drawing, New York Lottery officials confirmed Tuesday.
The winning ticket was purchased at Smoke Zone 723, located at 723 Hawkins Avenue. Take 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of one through 39.
Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim prizes, and the retailer will receive a commission for selling the top-prize ticket.
The New York Lottery continues to support education programs statewide, contributing $3.8 billion in the most recent fiscal year to help fund public schools.
