DC Store Hit by Coordinated Crew of Six Thieves

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for six individuals accused of stealing merchandise from a store on M Street NW Monday evening before fleeing in a waiting vehicle, officials said.

Around 7:35 p.m., officers were called to the 3200 block of M Street NW, where the suspects had entered the business, grabbed merchandise, and left without paying.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, which police released to the public Tuesday in hopes of identifying them.

Investigators believe the group may have coordinated their getaway with the vehicle parked nearby.

Tips sought from the community

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411.

Police are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to arrests and indictments in the case.

The department reminded residents not to approach the suspects but to contact authorities with tips.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The retail theft investigation remains active in the Georgetown neighborhood.
