Dong Oh charged for sexual assault at New Jersey massage parlor

EDGEWATER, N.J. — A 55-year-old Teaneck man was arrested and charged with sexual assault following an incident that allegedly occurred at SoJo Spa Club in Edgewater, authorities announced Wednesday.

Dong H. Oh was taken into custody on July 2 after a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Edgewater Police Department. The investigation began after Edgewater police received a report on June 4 regarding an alleged sexual assault that had occurred the previous day.

According to prosecutors, Oh, while performing a massage at the spa, allegedly sexually assaulted an adult female customer.

As a result of the investigation, Oh was charged with second-degree sexual assault under New Jersey statute 2C:14-2c. He was booked into the Bergen County Jail and is awaiting his first court appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the investigation remains ongoing and encouraged anyone with additional information to contact their tips line.
