BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for five individuals who allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old man on Jerome Avenue early Sunday morning, leaving him hospitalized.
The incident occurred around 12:57 a.m. on June 22, in front of 1005 Jerome Avenue. According to police, the victim was walking when he was approached by five unidentified males who stabbed him in the stomach and fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Jerome Avenue.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was listed in stable condition.
Descriptions of the suspects were released by the NYPD. All five are described as males with dark complexions and black hair:
- One was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt
- Another wore a black and gray hooded sweatshirt
- A third suspect was dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt and red pants
- The fourth individual wore a white T-shirt
- The fifth suspect was last seen in a gray hooded sweatshirt
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspects to come forward as the search continues.
