Man fatally shot on North Reese Street in broad daylight, police say

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 26-year-old man was killed Saturday afternoon after being shot multiple times on a North Philadelphia street, authorities said.

Police responded to the 2400 block of North Reese Street at approximately 2:23 p.m., where the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported by medics to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced dead at 3:01 p.m., police said.

The scene was secured by responding officers. No arrests have been made, and no motive has been identified at this time.

The case is being investigated by the Homicide Unit.

Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
