One man dead, two injured in early morning triple stabbing in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — A 25-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a triple stabbing early Saturday morning in South Jamaica, police said.

Officers from the 113th Precinct responded around 1:50 a.m. to a 911 call reporting an assault near Sutphin Boulevard and 112th Avenue. When they arrived, they found three men with stab or slash wounds, authorities said.

One victim, a 25-year-old male, suffered a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead after being transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. A second 25-year-old man sustained a stab wound to the left torso, while a 24-year-old man had a slash wound to the abdomen, police said. Both were listed in stable condition.

The identity of the deceased victim has not been officially released pending family notification. However, police confirmed that all three individuals were taken to the hospital by EMS.

The incident occurred near a residential area in the early hours of the morning. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

“The 25-year-old male who was stabbed in the chest was pronounced,” according to the official police report.

Police have not released details about the motive or any possible suspects.
