Brooklyn and Staten Island players cash in with big lottery prizes

NEW YORK, NY — Two lucky TAKE 5 players in Brooklyn and Staten Island each scored top-prize tickets worth $13,989 in Sunday’s evening drawing, according to New York Lottery officials.

The winning tickets were sold at Fine Deli & Grill, 1786 Utica Avenue in Brooklyn, and at Hylan Stationers, 2736 Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island.

TAKE 5 draws winning numbers from a field of one through 39 twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Lottery draw game prizes can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery reported contributing $3.8 billion to New York State public schools in its most recent fiscal year.
