Two dead in Dundalk shooting, including suspect in apparent murder-suicide

TOWSON, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after two men were found shot Monday afternoon in Dundalk.

Officers responded to the 8200 block of Bullneck Road around 4:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting. An adult male was found at the scene with gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead.

Shortly afterward, police located another adult male believed to be the suspect in the area of Dundalk Avenue and Liberty Parkway. He had sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The identities of the individuals have not yet been released. Baltimore County’s Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

No further details about the relationship between the men or a possible motive have been disclosed.

Police said the investigation remains active as they work to determine the sequence of events.
