NEW YORK, NY — Two lucky New Yorkers each claimed a top prize of $15,321.50 in Tuesday night’s TAKE 5 Evening drawing, the New York Lottery announced Wednesday.

The winning tickets for the July 8 drawing were sold at SHAKSHI BROADWAY, located at 3340 Broadway Store #1 in Manhattan, and LIQUOR CITY USA, located at 965 Richmond Avenue Suite H in Staten Island.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a pool of one through 39. The prize amounts vary depending on the number of players and winning tickets.

Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize through official lottery channels.

Both retailers will receive a bonus from the New York Lottery for selling the top-prize tickets. The lottery has contributed $3.8 billion in the most recent fiscal year to support public schools across New York State.

Players who may be struggling with gambling addiction can seek assistance through NYProblemGamblingHelp.org or the HOPEline at 1-877-8-HOPENY.
