Three women sought in Ocean City restaurant theft

OCEAN CITY, MD — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three women involved in a theft at a midtown restaurant Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on July 8. According to the Ocean City Police Department, the suspects — three African American females — were last seen leaving the scene in a white Kia Soul with visible damage to the front passenger-side wheel well.

One suspect was wearing a long yellow sundress, the second wore a brown top and carried a black and gold crossbody bag, and the third wore a bright pink tank top with a thick white headband.

Investigators are reviewing available surveillance footage and pursuing leads related to the vehicle and suspects’ description.
