Toms River offering summer tennis and multi-sport camps for kids

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Toms River Township Recreation is holding youth tennis and multi-sport summer camps for children ages 5 to 13 this July and August at Bey Lea Park.

The program is led by US Sports Institute and includes full- and half-day options across five weeks. Campers can register for morning tennis sessions, afternoon multi-sport sessions, or a full-day combination. Activities focus on fun, fitness, and skill development across a variety of sports.

The five available weeks are as follows:

  • July 8–12
  • July 15–19
  • July 22–26
  • July 29–August 2
  • August 5–9

Sessions run Monday through Friday. Tennis is held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., multi-sport from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the full-day program runs 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All programs take place at Bey Lea Park, 570 Bay Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753. Participants must bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and appropriate athletic clothing.
