D.C. Man fatally shot in Oxon Hill, $25,000 Reward Offered

OXON HILL, Md. — A 31-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in Oxon Hill, and Prince George’s County Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.

The victim, identified as Deon Damien Thomas of Washington, D.C., was found outside in the 5000 block of Indian Head Highway around 8:20 p.m., according to police. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Thomas suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives with the department’s Homicide Unit are working to identify a suspect and establish a motive. No arrests have been made.

The investigation remains active, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
