Nude bowling event returns to Pittsburgh alley for annual naturist gathering

PITTSBURGH – A Pennsylvania naturist group held its annual “Balls Out Bowling” event Saturday, bringing back the clothing-optional gathering to a Pittsburgh-area bowling alley.

The Pittsburgh Area Naturalists hosted the event at Crafton Ingram Lanes on July 12. Admission was $30, which covered four hours of unlimited bowling and shoe rental. The event required attendees to wear bowling shoes, and allowed women the option to wear bottoms, but no other clothing was permitted.

“Please bring a towel and a bag for your belongings,” the event’s page instructed.

The group emphasized that the event was open to adults of all genders, sexualities, and body types. Participation was restricted to individuals 18 and older.

Strict rules prohibited photography, video recording, and any form of sexual activity.

“Nudism does not equal consent and harassment will not be taken lightly. Violators will be asked to leave,” organizers stated.

The annual event continues to draw attention for blending traditional recreation with social nudity under clear behavioral guidelines.
