NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J. — The North Plainfield Police Department on Monday released information for residents trying to locate vehicles towed during recent flood-related incidents, listing four contracted towing companies used for removals from public roadways.

“If your vehicle was on a public roadway, it was most likely towed by NPPD,” the department stated on Facebook.

The four authorized tow companies are:

  • George Aller Towing: 732-752-3507
  • B&B Towing: 908-754-0454
  • NP Auto: 908-754-2264
  • Majestic Towing: 908-757-2057

Police emphasized that vehicles removed from private property or business lots may have been towed by unaffiliated companies, and vehicle owners must contact the property owners directly in those cases.

The department also warned against unauthorized tows and pricing violations, saying, “If it is later determined that any vehicles were illegally towed, or if any price gouging occurs we will investigate and charge those responsible.”

North Plainfield police are urging residents to contact listed towing companies or property owners depending on where vehicles were parked.
