PASADENA, MD — A 63-year-old man was arrested after detectives executing a search warrant in Pasadena uncovered a stash of suspected illegal drugs and paraphernalia, authorities announced Monday.

Eastern District detectives launched an investigation in June after receiving a tip about possible drug activity at a home in the 8200 block of Meadow Wick Court. On Sunday, police served a warrant at the residence and seized approximately 12 grams of suspected cocaine, 40 grams of crack cocaine, 49 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, six suspected oxycodone pills, eight amphetamine pills, and 20 alprazolam pills.

Also recovered were a digital scale and other drug manufacturing and packaging materials.

The suspect, identified as Kenneth Francis Topita, was arrested at the scene and charged. He is a resident of Pasadena, Maryland.

The investigation is ongoing.
