NEWARK, N.J. — Krispy Kreme fans in New Jersey can score a sweet deal this Friday, July 18, as the doughnut chain marks its 88th anniversary with a special offer: an Original Glazed dozen for just 88 cents with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.

The promotion is available at participating Krispy Kreme shops, including locations across the Garden State. New Jersey residents can take advantage of the deal at Krispy Kreme stores in Jersey City, Springfield, East Rutherford (American Dream Mall), and Paramus, among others.

In-store and drive-thru customers are eligible to receive up to two 88-cent dozens per order. Online customers using promo code BDAY at checkout can receive one discounted dozen per order when placing an order for pickup or delivery through Krispy Kreme’s website or app. The offer is valid only while supplies last on Friday.

“Eighty-eight has never felt and tasted so great,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s Chief Brand and Product Officer. “It’s a real joy every year celebrating Krispy Kreme’s birthday with our fans and treating them to a special deal.”

Founded in 1937, Krispy Kreme began with founder Vernon Rudolph selling doughnuts to grocery stores before opening his first shop to the public. The chain’s iconic Original Glazed doughnut continues to be its signature item and a staple at its locations nationwide.
