Armed robbers snatch necklace from man on Bronx street, flee in white Honda
BRONX, N.Y. — Two unidentified men robbed a 38-year-old man at gunpoint early Sunday morning in the Bronx, police said.
The incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. in front of 3112 Jerome Avenue, when the victim was approached by two individuals who exited a white Honda Accord. One of the suspects displayed a firearm and forcibly removed the victim’s necklace, causing it to fall to the ground.
The second individual picked up the necklace, and both men fled northbound on Jerome Avenue in the white Honda, police said. No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a male last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black and white sweatpants, and white sneakers. The second suspect was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, gray pants, and black and white sneakers.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
