BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 54-year-old on-duty MTA conductor was punched in the face Tuesday night during an altercation on a Brooklyn subway platform, police said.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at the northbound platform of the Utica Avenue Station. According to the report, an unidentified individual approached the conductor and started a verbal dispute before punching him twice in the face.
The suspect then exited the station on foot, heading northbound on Utica Avenue.
Emergency medical services transported the conductor to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a Brooklyn Nets baseball cap. No other identifying details were provided.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
