BEACHWOOD, NJ — A narcotics investigation came to a head on Friday when local and county law enforcement agencies raided a Beachwood residence, uncovering an illegal drug operation and arresting two men accused of operating a CDS production facility.
The operation unfolded at 233 Beachwood Boulevard, where members of the Beachwood Police Department’s detective and patrol units, along with the Ocean County SWAT team, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a search warrant tied to an ongoing probe into drug activity.
Inside, officers arrested Juan F. Florez-Castano, 32, and Andres Mauricio Restrepo-Gil, 31, both of whom lived at the home. They also face a disorderly persons offense for drug paraphernalia possession.
Additionally, Restrepo-Gil was hit with a third-degree charge for cocaine possession.
Both men were booked into the Ocean County Jail awaiting detention hearings. Officials indicated the case remains active and further charges may be filed.
